Wu Liu, Architectural Associate in KKA, graduated from Lawrence Technological University, with Master’s Degree in Architecture. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Liaoning Technical University (China) in Architecture. She previously worked for China Northeast Architectural Design & Research Institute (Shenyang, China) as an architectural intern. She is currently in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and plans to get her Architect license. She has experience in drafting, graphics, and modelling for most commercial projects. She started working for KKA in March 2018. She’s familiar with Revit, Photoshop, detailed construction assemblies, and existing building & site modelling. In her personal life, she loves watercolor and marker painting which adds to her creativity in architecture.
Tim Schott graduated in 2007 from Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. His career path led him to employment with KKA in 2015, where he was brought on board to help manage the myriad of Goldfish Swim School accounts. Tim is proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit. When he’s not at the office, he is spending time with his wife and son.
Steve Bleil started at Krieger Klatt in 2013. He attended OCC & Lawrence Tech and received his certification as an AutoCAD professional. Steve has 13 years of experience in residential design; five at KKA and eight years at his previous employer, Bryce & Palazzola. With his attention to detail, he is excellent at 3D/Revit modeling, managing CAD and BIM standards, and creating detailed blocks in AutoCAD for both residential and commercial projects.
Michelle Maas joined Krieger Klatt Architects in March of 2020 as the Office Manager. She has over twenty years of management and human resource experience. Michelle was most recently a Retail Manager for 13 years where she focused on talent development. She is driven to help KKA meet company and personal goals through her guidance and support. Michelle enjoys biking and spending time with family and friends.
Dylan Stefanko is currently an associate at Krieger Klatt Architects, where he specializes in multi-family, offices, municipal, and residential projects. Dylan prepares drawings/documents for all phases of projects, provides construction administration services, and leads small groups of team members back at the office.
Starting with the company in 2015 after receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo, Dylan has a particular passion for details; specifically the joining of non-like materials. Generating renderings, the possibilities of BIM, and getting out on to the jobsite round out his list of architectural interests.
As a lover of dogs, craft beverages, and the outdoors, you can usually find Dylan at your local dog friendly brewery.
With his relaxed attitude about timeliness, and as a master of smarm and combative wit, he is a true specimen of the millennial work force- even sans beard.
Ray started at KKA in July of 2011 shortly after Krieger Klatt was formed. He has worked on a variety of projects from custom single family homes to high rise multi-family/retail buildings and everything in between. Ray graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Design in 2011 and was featured in Crain’s Business Magazine (April 2017) in the “People on the Move” section. Ray is a great leader in a team based work environment with extensive knowledge in Revit and CAD drafting and detailing
As a project manager, designer, & draftsman at Krieger Klatt Architects, Vinny maintains comprehensive engagement in all stages of building design, starting from conceptual planning and culminating with permit/bidding & construction/administration. He began his career with Krieger Klatt Architects in 2014, where his experience in this professional practice has grown considerably over the years. Through his daily performance, Vinny strives to maintain & cultivate long-lasting working relationships with clients, contractors & construction managers on every project. He is skilled at managing project development & coordination with engineering consultants as well as in-house design staff as demonstrated on several project types including multi-family apartments, single family homes, office buildouts, custom restaurants, retail/shopping establishments, daycare facilities, manufacturing warehouses, & other franchise developments. The foundation of Vinny’s architectural ambitions began at Lawrence Technological University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.S. Arch) in 2014 and a Master of Architecture (M. Arch) with Distinction in 2017. He plans to begin the Architectural Registration Examination process and obtain licensure as a Registered Architect in the state of Michigan.
Dawn graduated from Lawrence Technological University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Interior Design. She has been an Interior Designer at Krieger Klatt Architects since 2013, and is currently pursuing her NCIDQ certification. Since working at Krieger Klatt, Dawn has had the opportunity to work on an array of project types ranging from hospitality design, corporate offices, retail design, multi-family housing and residential interior design. Not only is she an Associate IIDA member, she is an absolute master at hunting and gathering finish samples, and manages our interior design library.
Jason Krieger has worked in the field of architecture and design since 1993. His experience ranges from interior design to architecture. Jason’s last place of employment was at Carnovale Associates Inc, a design build firm located in Birmingham MI. In 2006, Jason started Krieger Associates Architects LLC. Krieger Associates main work consisted of corporate, hospitality, child care and custom residential projects. In 2011, Jason partnered with Jeff Klatt to form Krieger Klatt Architects. Jason is a licensed architect in 4 states. Currently, Jason is the project architect on projects in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan
Ivan is an Architectural Designer at Krieger Klatt Architects. He joined the firm in 2016, with two years of professional experience prior to becoming a KKA employee. Ivan graduated from University of Detroit Mercy, where he received his Masters of Architecture. While in school, Ivan won several design competitions, including Dean’s Design competition 2012 and Dean’s Charades 2014. Ivan has also several accomplishments in Division 1 athletics for men’s foil fencing.
As a professional, Ivan has worked on and led on a vast variety of projects. He has experience in commercial, residential, and historic preservation. His attention to detail, artistic talent, dedication to enhance his work makes him exceptional at 2D and 3D graphics and renderings. Ivan enjoys communicating with clients and other consultants on the project. He is easily available, quick to respond, and is always ready to help a client.
Jeffrey Klatt has worked in the field of architecture and design since 1996. Jeff’s experience ranges from custom homes to corporate work to industrial. Jeff has worked for 12 years at Carnovale Associates Inc. as a project architect. In 2011, Jeff partnered with Jason Krieger to form Krieger Klatt Architects. Jeff has served as a project architect on many different scale projects that range from office build-outs to 40,000 square foot industrial buildings.
Nick started at KKA in the summer of 2019. He graduated from Lawrence Technological University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He has recently returned to LTU to pursue his Master of Architecture degree which he is slated to complete in the fall of 2019. Upon fulfillment of his Master’s degree, he plans to complete his Michigan Architecture License with concentration on residential design and construction. He is a keen AutoCAD drafter, possessing significant knowledge of Revit and 3D rendering software as well. When not in the office his passions are sports (hockey and golf in particular), culinary creations, wine tasting, and spending time with his puppy Atlas.
Mike graduated from Lawrence Tech University and joined KKA shortly afterwards in 2013. His exemplary Revit skills have made him KKA’s lead Revit designer and educator as well as manager of all things BIM. He has spent most of his time here focusing on local commercial projects. Outside of the office Mike has been busy with construction of renovating his own house and helping our friends and family with similar projects. When tools are not in his hand, he enjoys being on the water in his boat and hiking both urban and rural areas.
Doug obtained his Master’s of Architecture degree at the University of Michigan. Prior to that, he studied civil engineering in Taiwan. He joined Krieger Klatt in the summer of 2018 and primarily works on various projects as a Design Associate with the assistance from senior designers and project managers. Doug plans to keep working towards getting his Architecture license.
As a project manager and designer at Krieger Klatt Architects, Jessica maintains comprehensive engagement in all stages of building design, starting from conceptual planning through construction/administration. She began her career in 2016 working at FES Group (now IMEG). Jessica strives to maintain & cultivate long-lasting working relationships with clients, contractors & construction managers on every project. She has experience with multiple project types including testing facilities, office buildouts, agricultural facilities, corporate campus renovations, and other commercial projects.
Jessica attended Lawrence Technological University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.S. Arch) and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture in 2016. She is currently a Master of Architecture Candidate at the Boston Architectural College (BAC) with the intent of obtaining licensure as a Registered Architect in the State of Michigan.
If she is not at the office, she is likely accompanied by her dog, Olli.
Eric Meyers is a Master’s graduate from Lawrence Technological University, having completed his education in July of 2016. He is currently studying for his professional examinations for architectural licensure. Since starting at Krieger Klatt in August of 2016, he specializes in commercial and hospitality projects as well as construction administration
