Situated within walking distance of Ferndale, MI's vibrant downtown, a new development has redefined urban living. This 8-unit stacked multi-family condominium project, an exemplary infill development, seamlessly integrated modern design with the bustling energy of the neighborhood.

The development was strategically positioned along the sidewalk to promote pedestrian connectivity, enhancing the sense of community. Each unit featured inviting front porches, fostering interaction among residents and passersby. The major design highlight was the sloped roof, oriented to the south to capture maximum daylight for the units. This innovative roofline, clad in standing seam metal, climbed from grade to peak, making a bold modern statement. The material palette was carefully selected to balance contemporary aesthetics with warmth and durability. The use of brick and metal siding provided a sleek, modern look, while touches of wood added a welcoming warmth to the overall design. This thoughtful combination of design elements and materials resulted in a development that not only met the needs of modern urban dwellers but also contributed to the vibrant character of Ferndale. The project successfully created a harmonious blend of functionality, style, and community connection, making it a standout addition to the neighborhood. Private balconies, grade level terraces and primary entrances along the Livernois frontage promote pedestrian interactions and a sense of community that is essential to Ferndale.
